Today 03 Mar 2020 Osram announced that they will shut down the LIGHTFY cloud servers on August 31, 2021. After that date, updates and connection to Amazon and Google voice assistants will no longer be possible.

To control smart lights and plugs after August 31, 2021, you’ll need to reset your entire system and integrate it into another ZigBee®-compliant system – like other smart lighting or smart home systems. Home Assistant as described here:

Osram can no longer invest in Lightify development when they sold the lighting department to cinese Ledvance in 2016.
The ZigBee® standard they use in Lightify is also not as modern as ZigBee® Light Link and ZigBee® Home Automation, making it more and more difficult to ensure compatibility with other smart home systems.
